A short biography- Giuseppe Lanza, MD PhD, is Full Professor of Advanced Medical and Surgical Technical Sciences at the University of Catania (Italy). He further trained at the Department of Neuroscience of the Newcastle University (UK) as Clinical Research Fellow and was selected for a Scientific Fellowship promoted by the European Federation of Neurological Societies. From 2013, he works as Consultant Neurologist and Chief of the Clinical Neurophysiology Research Unit at the Oasi Research Institute-IRCCS in Troina (Italy), a WHO collaborating Center for Neurosciences. From 2015 to October 2018, and again from 2021 to 2024, prof. Lanza lectures in Neurology at the Kore University of Enna (Italy). He has authored approximately 200 publications in international peer reviewed Journals and has spoken at numerous Conferences/Meetings; he also serves as Editor and invited Reviewer of several international Journals. Prof. Lanza also obtained the Master of Science in Clinical Research and the Advance Course in dementia and in movement disorders.
Giuseppe Lanza was currently working as Consultant Neurologist and Clinical Researcher at the “Oasi†Institute for Research on Mental Retardation and Brain Aging (I.R.C.C.S.) in Troina (Italy). He hold PhD at the University of Catania (Italy). He got the Master of Science in “Clinical Research†and the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor.
Giuseppe Lanza was selected for a Scientific Fellowship promoted by the European Federation of Neurological Societies. He is a co-author for more than 80 publications in international refereed Journals and Conferences and serve as Editorial Board member and invited Reviewer of several international Journals.
